The mt500 koroyd (non mips is £79.99
Holy cow, and the non-full face standard lid too.
Just got myself the mips lid in blue med for £40. No one’s had these in stock, and those that did were £120.
I’m finding it impossible to find out what the chin fasteners are. Anyone got one?
Also interested in these and if anyone knows how they compare to the IXS trigger FF on CRC, I'm considering both.
I'll let you know @seriousrikk, merlin can usually turn parcels around pretty quick, i ordered the singletrack FF last night. I cant see any jaw pads on the pictures either, so wondering if its a bit lightweight for enduro/tweedlove / bpw etc. hopefully the mt500 is still in stock when i know the M/L fits and i'll buy that.
I‘be ordered a full face and open face lid, left my helmet on a bike ride when I went out with the nipper a few month ago and only have my slightly too small giro switchblade at the moment which although comfortable to wear feels like it’s ripping my ears off when I take it off. Hopefully the endura lids fit so I can sack the Giro off.
Well that was a PSA I didn’t need. Thanks, I think.
Same here. Thanks a lot, I think too!
Cheers!
Ordered one when I got the email, arrived this morning.
It's very light, feels decent quality and fits well after swapping the cheek pads for the thicker ones.
Test ride tomorrow but I think it's gonna be perfect for the Alps next month 👌
@seriousrikk
I’ve added a few pics to Instagram
Yes the thicker jaw pads make it feel a lot better and the wheel tight net system has 5 positions so I’ve moved it up a few holes and feels so much better than initial try on
Helmets arrived today. Enduro lid is lovely, fits nicely (I’m 57cm and the ML fits like a glove or err, a helmet)
The full face is right on my cheek bones though, also feels incredibly light weight. It sure I’ll keep it, will try it with the other pads in and see if it makes a difference but suspect it’s just the shape.
My other full Face is a Giro Switchblade which is more open and whilst it tries to pull my ears off upon removal it’s not too tight when being work - assume that’s due to the polystyrene construction of this one.
Put what must have been the last one of these in basket this evening, went off to deliberate over some cranks, and half an hour later it was out of stock <swears>
Sorry, that was probably me, procrastinated too long the first time and jumped straight on them when I noticed they were back in stock this afternoon.
