Been looking for my first pair of bibs, criteria are white suspenders, not-long legs a not too intrusive pad (Assos, Castelli and Monvelo for its pad thereby disqualified). I'm 193 cm 89 kg.

TL;DR Rapha Core OK, but blown away by the Endura Pro SL 2020.

Endura Pro SL 2020 $120 medium narrow 18 cm pad width with variable 13-16 mm thickness, their flagship model and upgrade from the older Endura Pro SL 2.

d
Rapha Core €100 medium 19 cm pad 14 mm thickness, their entry level model.

Suspenders: Endura has much more practical (doesn't folder over) and more comfortable suspenders (less pressure on the shoulders).

Build quality: Endura.

Pad: Endura has a more advanced variable thickness pad that feels better to me, I have a preference for narrower pads.

Price: Rapha wins at €100 vs Endura €120.

Aesthetics: Endura. Both look good, but the Endura makes your ass look better..Branding more minimal on the Rapha.

Endura makes your ass look better

That’s a win for me.

You're a medium?

I'm 88kg, 180cm, so I guess will be 'stockier' and am wearing a large in both. Fear was that the bibs were so tight on the mediums that they were pulling the pad too tight into the crotch and causing rubbing.

I'm going round in circles trying to figure out why both new Endura and new Rapha shorts caused chafing when none of my old shorts did. Am beginning to suspect it's just a 'new short' thing but nobody else seems to have experienced it.

Fresh tub of Chamois cream arrived today, guess I'll just need to start using it more often.

Large may be a better size for me just haven't tried it, the Rapha suspenders definitely pulled a bit too tight, but the Endura ones feels fine (tentatively). Maybe I should order a large one and see..

I am a bit smaller than you at 82kg and 177cm and tried the Endura in M and L, both medium pad. I found the mediums a bit tight and went with the large.

I have short legs and long back and found the Rapha ones too short over the shoulders.
