Do they ever dry out?

I'm sure the cuffs in mine unzip. I know what you mean about the damp feel. Once the outside is dry I invert the jacket and air the inside/cuffs too. Jacket vintage unknown, but probably 7 years anyway, still going strong.

They've not got wet enough as yet
no (although the jury is out, i like them for walking but they feel like they are keeping heat in), i dont think i would.
