Thinking about a new jacket, keen to hear experiences of Endura's eVent?

Any alternatives?

Mine wore through to the membrane on the inside after sparing use in under a year (IIRC), was patched then happended again. Wore where all the zip ends were located. Got a refund in the end. Goretex for me from now on. Shame as it fitted well, breathed well - important for me. Just wasn't sturdy enough. Hope I got a an odd one.

Had mine over two years now and in general it is good. Very breathable, a good close fit and quite light. Only bad points are both cuff closures have pulled off (as the rubber broke) and on one sleeve the lining had worn through where branches and brambles have caught the jacket. That sleeve leaks badly now. I've worn it most days in both winters now

Not had any experience with the Endura Event jacket but I've got one of these and been happy with it so far.

Pace 3x3 here as well. Simpler design, but fits very well and no issues in 3 years
