Been trying to find a pair of bibs I like, Dechathlon Triban's pad was way too big, just got Rapha Core's and fit and finish is great, but pad is a bit large for my liking (used to riding without pads even on road bikes).

Next on my list to try are Endura bibs with narrow pads, but which model is better? They have a Pro SL, Pro SL Lite, Pro SL II (which is older than the PRO SL?) and FS260 doin me a confuse.

Assos or Monvelo are other options recommended here, but from what I hear their pads are similar to Rapha's?

Here's what I've gathered, from top to bottom end

Pro SL - top end model redesigned for 2020, successor of Pro SL 2
Pro SL 2 - 2018? model
Pro SL Lite - holes for cooling in legs and pad, not lighter in weight
Pro SL - older model
FS260 cheapest - no narrow pad option

I can tell you the Rapha core pad feels thicker than the Endura FS260, almost too thick for me.

Overall more comfortable though, after an hour in the FS260s I was slready getting a bit ginger over the bumpy bits.

Good to know, the pad on the SL PRO is however different to the FS260, will be interesting to contrast it to the Rapha core (19 cm pad width).

On first read I thought this was a really weird euphemism where the 'bumpy bits' were your perineum.

The only thing that puts me off Endura(I’ve found over last 10 years) is the kit is either very well made and lasts or falls to bits very quickly 🙁

Don’t know if it’s where certain items are made.

Got the PRO SL with the narrow pad and very happy, miles better than the Rapha Core bib IMO.

I've a pair of FS260's that have lasted well and are mainly comfortable. However, when they're washed, the foam(?) backing to the pad rolls up behind the pad forming a 'sausage' shape that needs sorting before you can use the shorts again. It's as if the pad has delaminated or an inner layer is free to do its own independent thing.

Apart from that, they've been ace.
