Looking for kit for Mrs t-r doing puffer and one of my favourite items were my endura stealth lite tights .

But alas non for woman .

Do any other company make waterproof bib tights in a woman's cut.

Cheers , shes having  a look now.

We found the morvelo stealth stuff but they are not  actually waterproof just repellant.

Better but we would like something waterproof if possible.

It's not even as simple as buy men's stealths and be done as even the smallest set of men's will be baggy on her .

Will still have waterproof Trews (or most likely shorts unless it's actually raining ) on top to keep the silica off the tights .

They are just about half price everywhere ATM for the outgoing model.

I would have just bought men's and tried them bar the fact that even the smallest size they make would be like a pair of baggies on Mrs t-r

Still looking. Has anyone tried the pearl izumi amfib stuff ? How "resistant" are they ?

Likewise the endura spray mt500 looks a good option too although a fitted baggy rather than a tight.

How do the mt500s hold up to staying up once they get wet and heavy?

Has she worn bib tights before ?  They are not for everyone, the cardinal reason being that it makes it a giant hassle to pee.  If you are racing, you should hydrate, and if you can't pee without removing 95% of your clothing, that becomes a problem, your choice is between bib shorts and adequate hydration.  Of course some women don't mind stripping off totally at the side of the trail or waiting for a clean toilet, so if may not be an issue...

bibs are her prefered option but i do get what your saying - they dont have to be bibs but she would prefer to be warm and not end up with her lower back exposed.

also many of the womans options for bibs are much better than prior , some of the casteli and posher DHB  stuff has low profile non rubbing clips that you can unclip and lift over your head without removing all your clothes.

Another option is to go Robin Hood styles and wear them with the straps on the outside?  This looks especially cool with kneepads.

I just wear mens bib shorts, I actually find them more comfortable than ladies padded shorts or either no difference at all, so I can only presume the mens bib tights will be similar (I tend to wear padded bib shorts with leg warmers in winter as opposed to the full on tights).  I usually go for Castelli or Morvello, in a small mens (if that helps) I'm a size 8/10 btw.
