Just built an El Guapo. Running 2x9, tried in vain to make a dual chain guide fit - there just is not enough room wihtout compromising the crank fitting, running with one spacer drive side.
Phoned On-One apparently this has been put right with next batch of Guapos - not much use to me.
Are there any slim line chain guides on the market, I only need about 1/2mm on the Blackspire and its Superstar copy or am I forced to run 1x9?
Seems their complete builds run 2x10 with a SRAM chainguide - confused
Try the bionicon one. I have similar issues on my Uzzi which has clearance issues round the BB because of the VPP linkage. The Bionicon one is cheap, weighs nothing, is out of the way, so doesn't get ****tted on rocks and so far has worked perfectly.
Thanks Jon
I'll check it out
