Anyone tried an eeSilk suspension seatpost?  Either the original Cane Creek or (preferably) an AliExpress rip off?

Did it work?  Was it heavy?

Yes, I had a Eeslick on my Camino, definitely helped comfort. No noticable movement but very smoothing.

What size do you need? I kept mine (31.6) but it doesn't fit either of the two bikes I have now

I was so impressed with the carbon eesilk i'd put on my gravel bike, i also went for a longer travel eesilk+ on my rigid 29er.  Since then I've stuck a Redshift stem on the gravel bike and Rebas on my 29er.  Great combinations. In both cases, the effects of the seatpost are subtle but wouldn't be without them now. Got both cheap in sales though, as expensive at rrp...

I don't notice the weight, and the carbon one certainly isn't heavy.

Thanks.  I need a 27.2 but it sounds like it's a good option to take the edge off my Stooge.
