Does anyone know where I can get a cost (ahem cheap) effective 130mm disk hub or ideally wheel for a road / hybrid frame I've been gifted.
Wedging in a 135mm is not going to work out (unfortunately).
Any ideas?
You could ask Hope nicely for one from an HB160, but they run a 17mm through axle.

Had that one on my Peugeot. Pretty nice quality hub. If you want it, can sell you for half a price, but freehub body is not in a best possible state... Drop me a line if you want pictures.
Cheers!

That's got to be just about the most impractical answer in the world from teethgrinder!
130mm disk isn't unusual these days, loads of new bikes have it. Quick squint on Chainreaction Cycles has this fairly cheap Prime one, sure you could find other options easy enough.

135, yes, 130 and disc are rather anomaly...
Quick look into Q&S under that hub:
No, the description is incorrect, as the disc option hub is 135mm.
Looks like just a typo on the description... I would try to verify it before buying.
Cheers!

what frame is it? could try to get whatever came stock on it in the first place?
White Industries do a 130mm disk hub.
Not an easy find, second hand or bust I think. Might ride it for a while with just a front brake though.
Any of these?

btw, i've ordered some Novatec bits from the "eshop" place and they were fine.
Novatec one of the few companies that make (or used to make) 130mm disc hubs. Specs here https://issuu.com/novatecwheels/docs/novatec_hubs_guide_2015_-_specs_201/7
HoratioHufnagel - you legend, awesome, thank you!
Was going to say Novatech - I have 135mm spaced ones and they've been faultless.
