It's that class of bike that mandates the rider ignore all other mountain bikers and never to acknowledge their hellos.

Was just reading this morning about the gradual derivation of "apron" and "uncle" from the original "napron" and "nuncle" in older English.

Gnarpoon, similarly, is what sailors use to catch a hwale - a gnarpoon, which became an 'arpoon.

Only loam rangers, sporting a loam boner can ride a gnarpoon.

They harness the gnarness on them. The trails act as bait to those who plunder the chunder.

Gnarpoon is usually a result of lack of sufficient fibre in the diet.

as ever not sure what it is* but pretty sure they aren't for riding gnarmac - I briefly though about gnardrops but got worried about people dropping the GnarPyjamas (gnarpys)

*I did know they come as part of a quiver and I'm glad we got reminded of that

Gnarpoon – the only device that can surf the brown pow?

From the Urban Dictionary:

A brown pow is when you are having intercourse with a woman doggy-style, and pull out just before you climax, only to enter her anally and complete the climax. You may have to hold on tight, because she will not be prepared for it.
We were doing it hard, and right at the end I felt inspired and pulled a brown pow.

So as a previous poster suggested linked back to the "2 finger up my bum" post......

@NW/Stu
"mincetank" was being used by the Scottish/Carlisle riders that frequented fozzy/mc's ukmtb forum way before it ever filtered over here..
Mainly referring to less than gnar folk's overbuilt 6" travel bikes (think OG Spesh Enduro SXs and the like) so what would that be? 2005? (sounds about right as that's also around when I moved back this way).
Honestly can't actually remember which of us first used it. Might well have been that horrid sexist GW bloke. Thank god he's gone

some crossed wires methinks, twas Northy that coined Gnarpoon on here.

Gnarpoon is a big, slack warrior of a bike.

A mince tanker has drop bars, and is more at home on crushed stone. Generally ridden by folks who need a fire road width to stay upright. 😊

I like to think that the superfluous G means it should be pronounced "nyarpoon"! I might be pissed though so I could be very, very wrong.
