Does anyone have any experience in editing your mountain bike videos?
I bought a drift hd170 off here the other day and am having trouble importing them in to Windows movie maker.
I think they need to be converted from a MOV file?
Can anyone recommend something to do this? Or am I just doing something stupid?
Any help greatly appreciated!
Windows movie maker is a bit poo really...
I use adobe premiere which is great, there are some other mid level tools out there including premiere elements.
If your after conversion there are a few out there, the gopro site has a converter that will probably work.

I use Sony Vegas, which is great but if you're only doing simple stuff then it's overkill and a lot to get your head around.
To get into Windows Movie Maker you need to make sure your converter will get your .mov files into .wmv or. avi (although the newer Movie Maker Live might accept more formats - can't remember).
For my bike stuff at home I use kdenlive on Linux, but at work I'm on windows and have used either Super or Any Video Converter to get files into the format I need for Movie Maker (although we have finally got Vegas now so that's a thing of the past).
