I know there are a few on here. the council have put out a consultation on improving cycling provision around the shore area. the consultation exercise is a bit of a [pain to do but most of the provisions look really good bar some very poor cycleway design - bus stop bypasses FFS
so could you please put your 2p worth in and try to push them in the direction of best practice for design for cycleways?
its been promoted in some very anti cycle groups so a few pro cycling entries might help
Done. I don't live there anymore but I have friends who live there and I like to cycle to see them. The small side streets like the ones off Leith walk could be made far safer for walking and cycling. Plus the cycle paths needs joining up from around Newington and Seafield as you are currently forced onto busy roads.
Hope the cycle network is improved around Leith as it has some good stuff already just needs joining up.
