Never felt compelled to write about a film before in such a profound way, I think with the recent events with those two kids in Doncatser made it especially poignant. Anyway, watched Eden Lake last night...genuinly horrifying (if a bit unbelievable in parts)and very disturbing, it left me feeling quite let down by the way our society has fallen from grace so sharply. Horrible (but good) film, don't think I would be able to watch it again in a hurry though.
I thought the same. This country really has gone to ratshit with the amount of chavs we now have.
I find it really difficult, as a parent, to read about cases such as the one you mention and baby p etc.
They say these kids are smoking cannabis and drinking and watching "SAW" aged 10?
People should have to prove their worth as a responsible adult before they are allowed to breed because we don't need anymore scum offspring in oue society.
Says it all when dad covers up for attempted murder within seconds of finding out. Most parents would be so profoundly shocked our kids could do that the best we could do is hide, not go to the police and lie whilst the search goes on. Dad needs to go to jail aswell!
