Afternoon folks,

Apologies if this has been done to death.......but....

Who uses one, has used one, hates them etc etc.

Thinking about a summer project but at circa £100 I want to check that it would be a worth while investment.

Cheers,

Mark

Oi've got three EBBed frames from three different manufacturers (Gary Fisher, GT, Thorn).

They're all great and BY FAR the easiest and least faffy way of tensioning your chain, especially if disc brakes are involved.

EBBs are the future.

What frame are you looking at?

are you looking at an eccenctrickerizer (sp?) or a 'proper' ebb frame?

Got one on my Fisher Rig and it's given me no problems at all.

Got two on the tandem and haven't had any problems, although it does mean another (small) tool to carry. I prefer decent adjustable dropouts on a solo but there are no really compelling pros or cons either way.

DOh!

Actually meant the gadget that turns a normal frame into one with a eccentric BB.

Like the

eccenctrickerizer (sp?
