Hi,
So my mother has recently taken an interest in getting an ebike. She's not ridden in a while and something easy to charge etc would be good. Any recommendations - looking at around £2k - 2.5k max, probably something with a low top-tube.
What's best VFM?
Cheers
Andy
Felt Sport E 30. No idea if it rides any good, but great Shimano E8000 system for £2000 from Merlin at the moment. Men's and ladies available.
Recently bought one this giant e-bike with nexus hub for my aunt, very easy to ride for her as she hadnt rode a bike for years and hub geared for simplicity.
Cant recommend a Moustache Lundi enough
Bought one for the wife just before Christmas
Step thru frame, bosch mid drive motor and 400wh battery, 26in wheels, Shimano drivetrain, Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, built in lights, removable display, mudguards etc..
Ours has been faultless so far, is used 5 days a week in all weathers with a 3 &1/2 year old strapped to the back
It is on the heavy side but its well built and should last well

VanMoof X3, I've just had an S3 delivered and pretty impressed with it as a method of transport around the city.
The latest ones S3 & X3 are much cheaper than previous ones, especially with the tech they have.
I am surprised no one has asked what she wants to do with it (road, trails, shopping) it would probably help for recommendations.
Sorry I probably should of put that. More leisure riding and trips to the shops.
Had a look at some cubes which seem good value for money.
