Just got a frame with EBB that I will be putting gears on
What's the best position to have the EBB in?

I tended to go for 9 o'clock to shorten the effective chain stay length. (assuming clearnace for chain ring if runnign single or chainrings and mech still worked if multi)

Depends what bb height you want and depends on the bike geometry. I have my geared Jones set with the ebb low fwd position, prefer it there for overall balance with the longer stays. Personal stuff though.

I've got mine all the way back. Pedaling feels better with a steeper seat tube angle, and seems better for my knees.
