Likely to be a scam? I've never had an enquiry from China before but have had 4 different buyers ask whether I'll ship an old Nicolai to China this weeekend. Did eBay just start showing UK listings to chinese buyers? I've sold a few things to Indonesia, Korea and other parts of SE Asia before but never China
I sold quite a lot of my Zippo collection to China, no problems at all.
We've sent some stuff to China too, no issues at all.
Yeah, recently sold 3 old primus stoves to Chinese buyers, despite me telling them that I wouldn't post - they got a delivery address in UK and I've had no come back yet...
i'm guessing this must have been a scam. Definitely something odd.
Flurry of enquires (4 or 5 different eBay id's over a weekend). A low offer from one to ship to the UK. A decent offer from another (which i missed responding to before it expired). I get back to all of them, remake the offer I missed.....and....silence.
I wonder if someone in china wanted a Pinion gearbox and these were all trying to source but got one somewhere else...
