I've been looking for an Avid Juicy rear brake to replace one that needs pretty much everything replacing. In the past 24h I've seen 2 go for more than 30 quid including postage. It's mental - you can buy a brand new Elixir for £40 from Merlin or On-One. The only problem is they're front only - but I've got a rear hose already that I can transfer across.
I just can't get over how much people will pay for stuff on Ebay....
I know! We're supposed to be in a recession as well.
I was bidding on ski crampons a while back, described as used with a few cosmetic scratches, New RRP £45. Went for £45 plus P&P. Another used set went for £40.
Nuts. I'd set a limit of £25!
It is mad I bought a used xt cassette for £9 posted, at about the same ending time another used xt cassette went for £19, I felt quite pleased
Might put that juicy 3 I've got on ebay then 🙂
DT78 - if you're not joking, tell me more.....front / rear, condition, price etc....!
I was selling things on ebay because I was getting more on there than I would on here. The amount of crap you get though from the buyer is ridiculous. The high prices and side with buyers is ruining ebay,
