Shame I've just turned 50 and that bike is for "young people only'.

And no battery included on the cateye. I'm afraid that's a deal breaker.

I'm out

It must be good as it's been up and down a hill and through a flooded cycle path......I'm in.. 😆

need a lighter model

Perhaps if it wasn't weighed down with 50lbs of crap (2 dynamos?) Mr Ancient could manage it.

Now that's the mountain cycle for me. I loves me some accessories on my mountain cycle and luckily I'm still young enough to handle such a beast of a mountain cycle.

My bid is in.

unlike a lot of other Non custom Mountain cycles one bump and it’s a wheel true specialist costing you a fortune!

Ive yet to:

Listed as new but I suspect it has been used. I'm not convinced this is quite the bargain it initially seems.

Ah, don't mock. The poor fella isn't going to get a sniff but there is something almost touchingly naive about that description.

When I had time for cars there was a bloke just like this trying to sell ridiculously overpriced tat on eBay with astonishing over the top descriptions. Eventually one of the forum members caved and went to meet him, said he was notmal(ish) on the surface but something wasn't quite right.

I suspect this bloke is the other way round. I am genuinely fascinated, what do these people do to get themselves so far from reality?

This is a Young persons Bike, a tough cycle for a tough young man!. And needs someone with much more Energy, Stamina and Leg-strength to cycle this Beauty

This item is Very Heavy and would require the buyer to collect in Person

I smell a trap!

Glad they got a close up of that Gel saddle cover, that really is one of the critical components.

It’s a bit sad that, he clearly likes his cycling and his accessories but he’s on another planet. His pride and joy is probably close to worthless but he’s hoping for £500+.

it’s a bit of a beast to handle

I bet it is! Like an oil tanker.

£150 bike when new, now 15 years old, covered in lights and mudguards. Easily worth £500.

Listed as new but I suspect it has been used

A new, unused item with absolutely no signs of wear. The item may be missing its original packaging

I have taken it up and down the Three Brethren Hill near Selkirk through flooded cycle paths, over rough terrain and it served me well in all scenarios

He truly is far removed from reality. Poor fella.

eBay is inhabited by oddballs who think "looked after" = "brand spankers new". Idiots.

Still, I maintain that we can learn a lot from the "lone wolves" of cycling. These are the riders who follow no rules but their own, and their independence should serve as a source of inspiration. If we sectarians can't respect each-other, then we can at least join together in our mutual respect for them.

How to sell a bike for instance?

I remember them but no, the even more legendary raymanboy, Google still has the aura of his extraordinary legacy.
