Another Sunday easy ride with tea/coffee/cake after...
Meet again at Drem Rail Station for an 11am rideout,
this time a shorter route than last time due to shortening daylight/unreliable weather-being November-weve had it too good!

This time ride North to Dirlton and down to Yellowcraigs then along to North Berwick and around below NB Law and out to Seacliff to trail above the coast to Tyninghame again and along the secret trail, (tandems/CX bikes can go straight up the proper trail this time as easier to rejoin at the secret trail end), then we will do a bit more this time around Binning Woods before tea/coffee/cake along at My man cave. Around 70% offroad and only the 1 techy trail,4 gates i think!
whatever the weather this route is always dry and getting a bit cool to sit outside cafes so garage stop near end will be ideal...

If we get good weather then cracking coastal views at Yellowcraig (Fidra),North Berwick sea front, Seacliff, and again at the cabin at Tyningham,
if we get crap weather then at least dry trails being sand/loam soil,
see you if you can make it,all welcome 😮
Again the North Berwick train leaves Waverly at 10:33am stopping at Drem 10:56am
return trains at half past ever hour....

Cheeky Laddie?

Bear in mind, i have no idea what these cycles are like, so have to ask peoples opinions, they wont be everyones cup of tea i assume.

Looked at the pictures, looks awfully tame for me, thanks anyway.

The big rides lately on here i try to make easy as theres alot of faffing at stops etc in a big group...
so these rides (i try) to make it easy going with a few real nice trails thrown inbetween to keep it interesting...social riding is the theme...
though some real lung busting stuff can be had up the lammy (Lammermuir) Hills... 😉

Sorry Kobra - maybe that was a bit out of order without context. Asking if a ride is recommended came across a bit odd to me.

Its no black route and these large rideouts are intended as social rides. Good fun tho and there allways has been a good mix of stuff. A good ride has 3 things, good compamny, good trails and good scenery - its just the mix that varies. These tend to be heavy on the company and scenery but enough in the trails to keep you interested

Hey Coastie, me and a friend will be coming along, looking forward to it.

To all - I will be driving, have room in vehicle for another 3 people + bikes, so if you want a lift from Easter Road in Edinburgh, let me know.
