I currently have X01 mechanical (XX1 cassette) on my Levo SL broped and it is 95% perfect. I certainly have to back off on pedalling power when using high assistance to avoid the 'bang' when changing gear but the cassette is still perfect after two years.

I'm probably going to change bike to one with a little moar power (60Nm instead of 50) and it will come with Eagle 90. I can't decide whether to install my X01 onto the new bike for that quality feel, lighter weight and super fast shifts, or settle with the Eagle 90 knowing that it will at least handle those emergency shifts better.

Anyone have much real work experience of 90 Vs X01?

Presuming you have a UDH compatible frame, as I think Eagle 90 needs that like SRAM Transmission. I've heard it shifts slower than standard Eagle so not sure what the real benefits are other than a rebuildable derailleur and better cassette ratio at the lower end.
