Looks like it's time to replace the old Giro E2.
I don't like the look of the Athlon. I have quite a hot head so the cooling of the E2 was good. Tempted by something like the Xen for the extra protection and graphics, but think it will be way too hot for me.
So any suggestions for something similarly cool(venting wise) as an E2?
I'm thinking maybe the Spesh S-works, but what about options from Bell etc?
I have a Spesh D2 and it's brilliant. Light and well vented, plus when it breaks Spesh replace it for 50% of cost or something.

I was in exactly the same boat before Christmas. I tried Specialized, Bell and MET. I considered the Hex and the Zen. Guess what, I ended up with the Athlon!
The fit isn't as good and the visor is too short but for a hot head, it seems better than the rest.
