THey're sold as "reinforced" and the suggestion is they're made by Michelin. How tough are they compared to Super Gravity/DoubleDown?
I've had no problems with the sidewalls but the TRS+ rear has had a couple of cuts that needed patching as they wouldn't seal.
That said, i actually prefer them to my old Minions & HR's.
I had a pair. Tough enough for smashing around the Peak and way tougher than my conti apex protection things.
Only gripe was how fast they wore out on the rear. Wish they made a more durable compound.
I don't think the sidewalls are as tough as SG but tougher than DD, so in between really. I recommend the TRS+ on the front, its super grippy in pretty all conditions. Don't buy a pair though, stick something fast rolling on the back, as they are some of the slowest rolling tyres on earth.
Tougher that DD? Or did you mean Exo? I agree they're tougher than Exo but for me, it's too soon to say if they're tougher than DD.
