Need a 42t for my HT so found the e thirteen one to be considerable cheaper than the others on ebay, so went for one.
Now looking at reviews on CRC which claim it skips and doesn't work, my oneup skipped until I got the B tension right, anyone have any experience with one? Worth a go or should I just order a oneup and reutnr the e thirteen when it gets here?
Apparently there's a fix by sanding down the ramps, but if that doesn't work surely I wo't be able to return it, anyone done this?

i had a nightmare with mine, skipped like a bastard. I tried everything from b tension screws to a 9 speed chain (thinking that maybe the wider links would help)

I ended up getting a t-rex that worked flawlessly out of the box.

Apparently a bit of sanding of the shifting ramps on the e-thirteen one can sort the skiping out, it keeps trying to climb on to the top of the teeth.

I have an E-thirteen expander on one bike and a Hope T-Rex on the other, both running with 10-speed XT cassettes. I can't tell any difference between them.

So it turned up and it skips under load, have sent it back, hopefully I'll get my money back so I can get a oneup.

You can see the ramps trying to push the chain off, filing the ramps down would probably solve it but would defo void any warranty so I didn't bother trying
