So I have just jumped into the e-bike world, old age and bad joints.
The old “manual” enduro bike was just gather dust, and to get my mojo back went e-bike.

So this leads onto the insurance question, who are you using? What recommendations and do you have accidental damage?
I’m interested is accidental damage as it has a carbon frame.

Currently on a 4 week free cover from Laka

apologies if this has been asked before, but the search function is diabolical.

I’m using M&S as no requirement for receipts for locks etc. carbon framed e-bike. No limit on value of bike either - just type it into the quote form. Not claimed on it so can’t vouch for hassle free payouts but I think the cover is good value.

Use Yellow Jersey through Cycling UK, covers everything as long as you use the right locks.

My bikes are on Bikmo, I've only heard good things about the claim process and you can edit and change the cover and values through your online account - I'm a bit of an upgrader / changer of parts so I find this useful. Also covers for racing and when in a vehicle etc. It's cirtainly more expensive than sticking if on home insurance but the cover is way better imo. If your a British cycling member you also get a discount.

Why is ‘e-bike’ insurance different to bike insurance?

Curious due to forthcoming acquisition.
