Velo based in Grizedale (and Ulverston) do e-bike hire.

Mate hired a Levo (I think?) last November which was actually lots of fun!

Got a couple from Grizedale at Easter and did the green and black. Trails are a bit tame mainly fire roads but plenty long, the views were amazing and straight from the shop doorway. Plus there is a good cafe and Windermere is round the corner.

Bikes were hard tail scott aspect I think, bb motor 250w, plenty powerful and long battery. Free recharge if needed, would do again. Also found a full afternoon was long enough.

If doing Grizedale check the bridleways beforehand. The fox, breasty haw, 3 sisters, parkamoor, the river, etc are all excellent as are the enduro lines in the forest.
