anyone ridden there lately? was thinking of checking it out soon but it says on their website that the final descent is closed? cant quite tell how up to date it is? obvs the final descent is the reason for going!
anyone ridden the other Mach loops south of Machynlleth?
the other mach loops need a map + gps, or a local guide IME - great natural riding tho.
cant offer any up to date info on the ClimachX - the dyfimtb group of FB might be worth checking out.
The final descent is closed
But we did it early on a Sunday morning and only the last couple of hundred meters is actually unrideable

I was with Kimbers and also the signage on ClimachX is rubbish!
The Climachx final descent is indeed still closed, there are quite a few trails off the climachx in that area though. The other Mach trails are a bit more XCish IMO, riding through fields etc... The mach 3 does have the chute though, which is really quite rad. You'd probably struggle to navigate the mach loops without some form of extra navigation than just the markers.
