I've just had a pair of Rockgardn knuckle guard gloves go through at the fingertip after not a very long life (though I do trailbuilding with them on too). Can anyone recommend gloves that are genuinely hard wearing and don't fall apart at the seams?
I have trashed loads of mtb gloves trail building. They just aint built for it.
Much easier to ride/build in these...

and save your good gloves
I'd keep a pair of cheap workman's gloves in your bag if you're doing trailbuilding. Anything like that will wear out riding gloves.
I've been using these

These are good, slim fitting and very durable.
I wear XL Fox mtb gloves and a 9 in these fits.
