Does anyone know if you're allowed to take bikes into the park?

Kids bikes only inside as far as I'm aware. There are bike racks immediately outside the entrance.

It gets incredibly busy on a Sunday and wouldn't be much fun anyway.

Is that the park or the gardens?

The park. No bikes at all in the gardens (but you can leave kids bikes with the attendant there)

I've walked through with my bike on quite a few occasions, but no cycling apart from (I think) under 5s.

Timely question - we were there yesterday
Under 5's only, I didnt know this and we went yesterday, there were okay about it but I was more annoyed any my own stupidity. Better off at Tatton or that Lymm trail if you want to ride with the kids.
Ended up doing some of the canal and some of the roads (obvs to the pub)

We went to Tatton, where the 5yo announced she liked riding down hills 'like Rachel'. Hmmm.

From the official Facebook page:

Dunham Massey National Trust Due to how busy the park is and the fact that the park is a Site of Special Scientific Interest cycling is restricted to children under the age of 5. We do have bike racks in the car park if you are coming by bike.

Stick to Tatton, much more bike friendly
