Here's the thing..... i have a post mount rear on my frame and run 160mm rotors, if i were to buy a rear brake calliper for IS could i adapt it to run on my post mount/160mm rotor set up?

if 'yes' could you direct me to the adaptor i'd require please?

I don't think it's possible to keep the same rotor size. You'll probably have to go up 20mm, though Hope used to do a +10mm adapter.

I may have misunderstood you, I thought you had post mounts on your frame.

However, that adapter is [b]"to mount a 74mm post mount caliper to a 51mm international standard frame mount to accomodate a 160mm disc"[/b], it won't let you mount an IS caliper to anything.
