Ok novice bike component sourcing question.

I have 1 steel frame with rear triangle spacing of 140mm.

I just got some wheels 2013 mavic cross trails 135x9/12.

Have i ballsed up here getting the 135 or should I have looked for a 140mm wheel.

I guess it fits if i pull the rear triangle together... My main concern is whether a 10 speed xt cassette is going to fit on him.

Any help which will stop me sweating will be appreciated.

Cheers

This is a bit odd then. I felt pretty sure getting a 135 hub, but then when i looked at the fit i started to sweat.

I measured the rear dropout spacing and its bang on 140

Define "measured"... 🙂

Its 135mm.The mavics will run a 10spd cassette.

Now stop sweating. 🙂

Have you measured between the inside or outside of the dropouts?

Everything will fit. You will be fine.
