I'm speccing a new build - threaded BB (yay!) but need to decide what cranks to stick on it.  The rest of the drivetrain will be a mix of GX and X01 so the easy option is to stick with SRAM and stick a DUB crank & BB in there, but I'm wary of 'new' BB standards and part of me is thinking that HT2 is a known quantity.  WWSTWD?

No idea of the longevity of a DUB bb yet. I have fitted one to a frame I am building up but can't find a tool to tighten the bloomin's thing. Everywhere is out of stock or want ridiculous prices.

Fine* so far.
Use a strap wrench if you can't get the tool. Obviously not as precise, but gets it tight.

* Mrs Yak has probably put in 1500miles or so from winter till now on one. Been in a lot of water/sandy grit and still good.

We've been selling & running since launch, and AFAIK haven't replaced one or sold a replacement. Best BB out there I'm pretty sure .

Just incase you still need one.

Bought the nx group and fitted to sons bike before Xmas.. Took cranks off last week to inspect as never had good dealings with srams own bbs... Honestly was surprised at how clean and good condition it was in.. Bearings feel brand new still.
If there was anything I could complain about(nit picking) it's ever so slightly draggier than the hope bb on my bike.
Muuuuuch better than sram of old
