There is a small collar on the non drive side of a DUB BB, there’s a 2mill hex screw that you open up then you rotate the collar anti clockwise to back it off before removing the crank.

Does anyone know the size of that screw or a part number for it? Mine fell out when I was removing the cranks.

Might be worth getting the kit which includes the preload adjuster itself. It's good to have a spare anyway as they can crack easily if you over tighten them.

Part no: 11.6418.001.001

It'll be a standard metric screw
