DT240 rear hub spares advice?

The missus has worn out the ancient Hope Ti-glide on her commute bike. Many things wrong with it and Hope don't have spares anymore. (I think I bought the hub in 2000, so its not done too bad!)

I have a spare DT 240 kicking around (picked up S/hand off here, maybe 2013 or 14?). Its currently set up as XD and 142x12, which if I can change it to HG and QR, will be a cheap, nice, replacement

so....

Do all DT ratchet freehub bodies fit all DT ratchet hubs? eg would this

https://www.bikeparts.co.uk/products/dt-swiss-ratchet-freehub-conversion-kit-for-shimano-mtb?_pos=25&_sid=93c2181f7&_ss=r&_fid=2f4334fe5

Fit...?

But then it doesn't seem possible to buy just a QR NDS endcap? And by the time I've bought a pair at £30odd, I'm the best part of £100 into a "cost efficient" wheel rebuild before I've thought about spokes...

Advice or sources of cheap DT spares gratefully received!

Yes it will but you can get them for a lot less second hand, normally £30 is for the freehub. Normally best way to get qr adapters is SH where people sell both sides as they have converted to a different standard.

Thanks.

Any good sources of s/h QR endcaps? Nowt on Pinkbike or ebay. Not sure where else to look.

No... It's become a bit convoluted with the newer hubs, but as yours is an older one it's a bit easier at least...

Pretty sure I've got a spare HG freehub body with plenty of miles left in it in my spares box... I'll go have a look later.

What OLD do you need? I think the non-drive side end caps are different depending on MTB or road...

(asking as I may have a spare knocking around... 😉)
