Just bought some dt swiss XR10 wheels from a spark 10 and want to know if the front can be converted to 15mm bolt through (currently QR)can't seem to find out any info on this wheels set
From what I can see there is not such wheels. If you are refereing to the XR 1.0 Carbon, they are already 15mm 370/350 hubs with the 15mm to QR adaptator.
Are the hub shell gentlty moving?
No definitely Xr10 I think they were made only for the spark 10 2011,proberbly re badged 240's but not sure
Well you have to be sure. Are the hub shell on the side moving gently.
I can't really see OEM wheels being 240. Specially for scott.
My guess will be that they are 350 therefore not convertible from 5 to 15mm. But I need to know for sure
End caps should just pull off - check the axle diameter. There is a version of the 240 which is QR specific, but most can be converted.
You may need an axle, you may just need end caps.
There's been OEM 240s in the past- Giant and Trek at least, maybe others. Pics would be helpful tbh
Loads of companies use DT 240 internals in their hubs - Bontrager, Roval, CycleOps, so it's entirely plausible.
For OEM it's more 350 than 240. Front hub is very likely to be a 350/370.
And Njee it's omre there is a 240 version that is fifteen and the others QR/TB.

Nope, as I said, Bontrager, Roval and CycleOps all use 240 internals. Fronts are a bit different - they're usually in different shells, so the 350/240 point is moot.

Aye, but you can convert both to 15 - as it's OEM it's not a given which it is.

Doesn't mean it's a 240, as the 350 use the same internals as the 350.
And you CAN'T convert a non fifteen QR front hub to a 15mm
