I have a set of DT Swiss R20 dicut wheels (standard factory build) and need to swap out the rear wheel bearings.

They are standard 11 speed Shimano road, quick release fitment, 3 pawl engagement - but I don't actually know what hubs I have or what bearings I need, picture is below if that helps. Can see no markings on the bearings themselves, could obviously press out, measure, replace, but that puts the bike out of action.

R20 rear hub

Any help happily received.

Isn't there a DT Swiss website with PDFs for the products?

I bet they are standard 6001 bearings, which are widely used in bike hubs. Sometimes you'll see 6001 on the seal. Best place to buy them is your local industrial bearing stockist, Motion Industries if you're near Bury.

I took a look and actually it’s not obvious on the website without making a couple of assumptions.

The manual for the non disc R20 (aero disc not brake rotor) seems to show only ratchet (ie, 350 series) hubs but advises referring to the hub manual.

Hubs doesn’t seem to show a ‘definitely this is what you have’ for this wheel. If it’s recent and a 3pawl it’s probably a 370 hub, and from this thread it looks like you have 6902 or 6903 bearings (6903 if 12mm axles?). It’s not clear though. I’d ask DT or TFTuned.

DT have a lot on their website but the wheel manuals don't cover bearings and this hub is not in the hub manuals. That said if I follow the 3 pawl hub manual it says the bearings are:
370 hub (front) 100mm QR - 200 ball bearing Ø10 / 26 x 8 mm HSBXXX00N1002S
370 hub (rear) 3 pawl (no width listed) - 200 ball bearing Ø15/28 x 7 mm HSBXXX00N1468S

The R20 rear hub needs the following bearings

1 x HBDT805
1 x HBDT806

Any bike shop can get them from Madison.

I recently replaced the bearings in my R24 disc wheels, and I used the following bearings

2 x 6902 in hub
1 each 6902 & 6802 in Freehub

I also had to purchase a special to to remove the spline on the drive side before removing the bearing.

I’m not sure whether these are the same as your R20 hubs

Yesterday I bought two small 608 bearings for my Mavic hub.

Price for the two at my local bearing stockist: £5.00

Price at my LBS: £12.50.

In case anyone wants to know exactly what is in a 370 hub on an R20 rear wheel:

6902RZ
6802-2RZ

And freehub:

6902RS
68022-2RZ
