Hi, I grabbed a set of dt swiss x1900 spline 27.5 wheels for my lads bike a while back (100x15 front 135 qr rear)
i noticed some movement in the freehub, casssette can rock slightly, so im going to say it's in the outer bearing on the freehub. He now has some weird shiting going on and I want to start with that
I did look for identiication numbers on the bearing... and compared it to another shimano freehub that I have here (the one I have here has a larger inner diameter I think)

anyone knowledgeable to point me in the right direction?
thanks

6902 RS is the size for the 350 hub, probably the same for the hubs you have. if you want to check, the dimensions are usually embossed on the rubber seal.

I'm not very knowledgeable, but don't the 1900-series wheels use 370 hubs?

Measure as well, it's not that uncommon to supply OE manufacturers bearings with the wrong dimensions on the seal.
Probably not DT Swiss though.
I've had American Classic, novatech, syncros and bontrager/trek wheels with wrong numbers.

so... i looked at the dt 370 manual
it only lists the freehub as a complete assembly, found an ebay seller doing bearing kits so ive grabbed one of those

DT Swiss have definitely used bearings with the wrong numbers on the seals, think it was their Onyx hubs that had 16100 bearings with 6001 seals. Caught me out a treat.

as i couldnt find the info, i bought a kit from ebay
it was wrong...
so i decided to pull the bearings from an xd freehub, turns out its actually really hard to get hte freehub bearings out..
so i just bought a whole freehub as i'd had enough by this point 😀
