I've had some XCM 130's since around Christmas. For various reasons I haven't used them anywhere near as much as I'd like to have, but I still think they're ace 🙂

Thing is, I've come from Fox/RS forks with the dreaded stanchion wear & far-too-regular-service issues. I notice a distinct lack of instructions/guidance on how to do a basic service/seal clean on the forks, either in the manual or online. The manual seems to suggest you're fine just sending them for an annual service. Past experience has me more than sceptical than this is enough to keep that buttery smooth black coating on the stanchion so I was wondering what other owners do to look after their forks.

Anyone? 🙂

am equally sceptical too...but i've run mine intenisvely for more than a season now...the only attention they have recived from me was the occassional twiddle of the various dials...and a bit of looking at them closely! quite satisifed with that.

My DT XC100's were sent to Pace for annual servicing. Think it was around £70.

In the past I have had my Fox's sent for servicing to TF Tuned and always received an informative note about what they had done etc etc.

But with Pace there was nothing. So don't actually know what they did.

Hmm. Ok - thanks for the replies guys. I guess I need to have more faith in them then? It just doesn't seem right after years of taking forks apart every month or so. 🙂

For £70 I'll probably send the to Pace at the end of the year....assuming they're still covering them now they don't sell them any more
