So i read up on how to service my dt swiss xcr 100's. Bought the seals, oil etc.

Tonight i tried to remove lowers. Fail.

I was faced with a nut and a 3mm allen key mount. I removed the nuts ok, but could not with all my heart get it all undone.

What am i doing wrong?? Dt swiss website says turn clockwise.. fail! Wont budge 🙁

Does the manual tell you what torque should be on it? Might indicate whether you just need to be tougher with it. That said, if it's 3mm it's unlikely to need a lot of torque.

I've got some and my lowers came off with the bolts turning anti clockwise I'm sure of it.

Rediculous 🙁 tried posting image but failing miserably

Did you just undo the nuts and the lowers slid off? Mie wont move like that...

I have to apologise. I just looked through my manual and it was indeed clockwise. At least they are off 🙂
