Hi all,

Time to mine the collective parts hunting power of STW...

I have a brand new DT Swiss E1900 wheelset which has the 350 hubs at their centre. They came on my Mondraker Dune RR and as such have the XD freehub on a 142 x 12 axle.

I sold off the SRAM groupset as new when i got it and put my XTR on with hope wheels. I can't be bothered with the expense of a Sram cassette to build them up as a spare set of wheels, so thought about swapping out the SRAM XD freehub for a shimano one.

Can i find one anywhere? not a hope in hells chance. Dead easy to find the SRAM version i already have, but not the other way around.

Does anyone know if Shimano freehubs with 142 x 12 freehubs are available for the 350 hubs? if so, where?

Cheers All

unless Mondraker have had some special E1900s made, the freehub wont be a 350 (because the hubs aren't 350s). You need the standard pawl style - best to get your LBS to call Madison to get the right part. You'll also probably need new axle adaptors too. I don't think the F/Body comes with them.

Madison currently only deal with the aftermarket hubs which all come with Rachet freewheels, if you need a pawl freehub then you should talk to TF tuned who handle spares and servicing for the complete wheels.

The rear hub on the E1900 is not a 350 it's a 360 or 3P hubs.
It's the ''new'' 3 pwl hub system.
Reference you need for a shimano freehub kit in 142/12 mm is : hwyabm00s6150s which include both freehub and encaps
