How...???

Popped off end caps easily but how the heck do you remove the pressfit bearings? On a previous pair I was able to get the tip of a flathead in there and pop them out - not happening here and in danger of damaging the rim...please help

Which hub? Or wheelset. Ideally the hub.

Oh, front or rear?

In danger of damaging the rim whilst trying to remove bearings? You're doing it wrong 😕

Which hubs? They're generally pretty easy to knock out.

Sorry damaging the rim of the hub...not the wheel rim!

Not sure which hubs they are - off a 650b cube stereo & website just says custom for cube! 15mm QR if that helps and on the front!

Assuming 240 style hub, from memory..End caps off and drift the axle out.. It will bring one bearing out with it. Flip hub and drift other out. you can drift against a larger socket so the bearing falls into the middle.
Install using socket to press or drug back in. Use socket that's as larges as the outer race or you'll poop the bearings.

Also look up how to swap axles in DT hubs.. Same procedure essentially as bearings have to come out

Not sue about Cube but the M1800 OEM on my Canyon are not 240 etc but turned out to be Onyx. Quite different design but procedure is as above..Manual is on line once u know that -thanks to the STW Collective brain for that.
Check there is no hidden circlip in the free hub.

Sorry, you said front hub. Worst case you might want a blind bearing removal tool. Superstar set is good I found.

timbo, DT wheelsets aren't very clear what hubs they use. But visually / logic you'll get there. Any chance you can look on here to recognize your hubs?

http://www.dtswiss.com/Components

Click on "hubs mtb". That should help a fair bit.

And lastly, they'res a chance its not actually a DT hub. So maybe a photo of yours would help if you're stuck.
