Anyone carry a flask for using at stops?

I'll still be stopping at the pub and like the idea of decent coffee/tea

Can this work?

You're going to take your own drinks to the pub?

I sometimes take a flask if out in the colder months. Stored in a backpack.

OK, I knew I'd flack for this, but some pubs I go to don't serve tea/coffee.

If they do, I'll buy one

Like the 'House Stu

Just do the sociable thing like when you were a teenager first going to the pub. Buy a drink you don't really like and force it down your neck to blend in with the cool kids.

I can't imagine there's a pub out there that won't do you a cup of tea/coffee if you ask for one. Even if they don't have fancy hot beverage making facilities, they'll all have a kettle!

And tea from a flask is always shit anyway.

I'm getting no-where fast

I'm not going to drink 'pop' you clean toilets with that

J2o and the like contain too much sugar and I need to consider my impending diabetes

I'm prepared to concede and accept a flask a bad idea (we all come up with bad ideas)

I'm surprised no-one does the flask thing though

Thermos do a flask that fits bottle cages, it's even got the neck at the right place for the upper edge of the cage to lock in to so that it's more secure. 500ml capacity I think.

There's lots of flask options out there, as Ton says small cheap metal ones will do. Mentioning rocking up at a pub and pouring yourself a cuppa is just confusing. Pubs sell sugar free drinks too and I've yet to find a pub that can't brew up a cuppa.

I remember when a load of ramblers rocked up to our local after ride pub and all produced their own food and flasks.
Landlord goes straight over to tell them to do one to be told to "Fetch me the manager" 😆
I thought they were going to leave through the window...
