Someone else whining about how Shimano chains are crap by the looks of things. Even though by there own admission that they are run too tight for too long. But its definately the manufacturers fault....

johnners - i've snapped more shimano chains in the last few months than sram chains in years.
how does that equate ?
addditionally, i've been using dry lube on shimano chains, so wondered if there was a link (pun intended)....
anyone else ?

Been using Epic Clean Ride dry chain lube for the last couple of years on both my bikes with absolutely no problems. SRAM chains on XT drivetrains. Slightly noisier than wet lube, but so much cleaner and easier to maintain.
