Recently had an off, and have discovered I've bent the dropper remote lever on my Brand X post (the newer shape). I'm going to attempt some heat/brute force to see if it'll straighten - probably not, but its' worth a punt anyway. Assuming it doesn't work, what's the current preferred option? I know there are the Wolf Tooth ones etc. out there, but they are nearly as much as the post, so looking for a cost-effective option. I'm happy enough with the standard one which CRC do for £25 but anything else out there I should look at?

I just got one of these and I'm very happy with it, especially for the price!

Another vote for the Ztto remote.

Absolutely fantastic, not sure why folks would choose anything else.

Cheers guys - just worried about time scales with ordering something from China - how long were you waiting?

I waited 8 days for mine.

There are some UK-based supplies, if you look on Ebay.

I’ve got the old brand x lever, the new brand x lever and the Bontrager lever. The Bontrager one is much nicer than then brand x ones - both in terms of how it looks, how it feels, and being better made.

Bought mine from Trident Cycles in the U.K. and it arrived within a few days. It’s been on the bike a year and a half so far and all good despite a couple of crashes.

Mine took about 10 days to come from China.
No wierd free gift, which I was pretty gutted about.

You could buy our old brand x levers we don't want anymore 🤔

Never used the levers that came with our four. Just used the Specialized Command post levers that were on the bikes along with the rest of the assembly. Just unclipped the cable from the bottom of one and clipped it back into new new post.

Cheers all, ordered one of the ZTTO levers, so will just have to wait now as they've said about 4 week delivery time - good job I've got other bikes to ride!

There are sellers in the UK of the ZTTO I'm sure.

I've got the ZTTO and the Bonty. In all honesty the Bonty is the better made of the two but they both work fine.👍

I really want a PNW Loam, they look lovely and have great reviews as does most of their kit. I think that is where I will be heading when one of mine breaks

To be honest, other than the rubbery bit you get for your thumb on the PNW Loam lever, the ZTTO one is identical.

You could buy a ZTTO lever, a lump of table tennis bat rubber and some contact cement for far less than the £68 it costs for a PNW Loam.

That said, it's your money.
