So I’ve bought a brand x dropper but the trigger is left hand under but won’t go. There’s too much there as I have a Fox twin-loc suspension and there is the obvious brake lever.
Is there a replacement trigger I can buy that will fit on level tl brake levers or a Fox twin loc suspension? Or something that can join any 2 of the 3 to simplify things and make more room?
Before the suggestion of moving the dropper trigger to the handle bar comes up I’ve done that but will inevitably brake my thumb or deglove it on the first bump!

Cheers. Trying to add a picture. Will do ASAP.

I had the same issue on my Spark when I had a dropper. Cheapest options was to get a 2x lever ( I have a couple of the Bontrager ones knocking about. Not as nice to use, but it did the job.

Something like this?

Hi, thanks for that. Spark is actually the bike I've got.
The link you sent looks quite similar to what I have, what's the difference?

It's ok, taken another look and I see the difference now. A good idea, cheekily expensive for what it is..... may have to resort to it though.

I think I have one of the ones same as john's link on my Brand X dropper. I'd happily swap it for the under bar lever type if they are a straight swap?

Hey Phil
I’d happily swap if it is going to work for both of us.
Cheers

Sounds good if you're happy to wait until next weekend?

Drop me a message.

Hopefully it works out 🙂

I'll probably get a wireless dropper for my Spark if I'm going to get another and figure out how to mount the button.

My dropper lives on the other bike I've just built now.

Had the same issue and had to bite the bullet and get the 2x lever, it works well and think I prefer it to the 1x lever on my other bike. Think it cost be £25 but got a good deal on the dropper so that eased the hit.

I've seen that Scott actually do a combo, but £90!

Looks spot on, but, wayyyy too much.

I just run mine on the right with the lever on top. Actually have a 2x lever sitting in a box to swap, but can never be bothered. Once you get used to having it on top, it's no problem apart from worrying about it breaking in a crash.
