Hi I'm trying to open my Lapierre dropper post as the post doesn't always go down it's a bit like a seat belt as if you push it to hard it doesn't go down but push it lightly and it will go down. On the top on the seat post is the cover or bolt with 6 holes but I have no idea how to remove it. Any help will be appreciated.

A pin spanner should get that out.
Just make sure there's no air pressure behind it.

The pin spanner got me thinking so tried my circlip pliers but couldn't get it to undo or the one that's on the bottom of the post so maybe I'll treat myself to a new one.
