I have a port on my seat tube for a dropper post, but I either run a standard seatpost or a non-remote seatpost. I've had bits of tape covering it, considered Sugru, and more lately, left it open but suspect quite a lot of water is getting in there and sitting in my bottom bracket (there is a drain hole but its small)

I can't find much in the way of bungs, I'm sure its a standard size but its a hand built frame so can't just get them from the manufacturer.

Its lozenge shaped (oval with straight sides) measuring 20mm * 8.5mm. I've found a few bungs that look correct (Ragley for example) but after doing a bit of digging it sounds like these are a tad longer at 22mm.

Anyone know a seller that has a range of sizes and can actually be bothered to give some sizes!

i'll have a look in our spares tomorrow, probably got something there that'll fit the bill.

I've had a bit of duct tape covering the hole in my Pact frame from new. 3 years or so. The same bit of tape.

Thanks guys, if Coatesy doesn't have anything, I do some scraps of invisiframe lying around somewhere so that would be a more permanent solution 🙂 I've got the grommet with a cable port in it but it falls out!

What about a cable sized bung to plug the hole in the grommet? Would probably stop it falling out.

I use to have an on-one dee dar. Had the same problem and bought these that fitted perfectly;

Sadly the only picture I have is this from when I sold the bike. Looks a good match?

Just buy the sugru because it really does do the trick. I’ve gone for axs mech so had open holes on my frame and as sceptical as I was it was easy and looks professional.

Whyte do these:

Not sure if the 25mm is overall length or hole length. Either way, if it's a few mm too long, you could probably hack the plug away a bit whilst still leaving a neat finish on the front.

Had no luck, all the ones we have are 25mm long.
