i have a 1920's bobby's bike with the same size wheels.
Wheels look even bigger than 29er/700c!
everyone was shorter back then, it's like those 5' high door frames in old cottages )
Is 28" the same as 29er/700c? I see 28" on German websites - was confused at first.
I'm sure the middle bike is a 69er.
I love the look, especially the big head tubes and tiny stems. Got most of the bits, must build one sometime.

The roads were like our forestry tracks which probably explains why they look so similar to a 29er. Function defines form.
