Liking the singular swift and just wondering if its a bit long in the TT for drops ?

TT length, dunno, depends on you, the size you go for, the stem and the bars. Certainly designed with drops in mind:
Bars - with a choice of stem and consideration for position on the bike the Swift is optimised for use with a standard flat bar, a highly swept bar such as the Jones H-Bar, or an off-road drop bar like a Salsa Woodchipper.
Do a google image search for "swift drop bar" Plenty on there.

There are lots of images on Google of drop barred Swifts but I really cannot understand that particular choice. They all look terrible (in my opinion: each to their own of course!)
