So I live near Chester and I see that the footpaths and car parks have opened up in Wales now but they specifically are not opening car parks and trail centres.... but can I now drive to Conwy to ride the natural routes out there this weekend ?

Anyone who's read through all this change in rules etc. care to wade in with an opinion please.

Cheers.

No, still have to stay local in Wales we aren't allowed to travel for recreational purposes. Currently proposed date is 6th July for travel restrictions to end.

No we’re still in a form of lockdown with a 5 mile travel allowance as guidance - 6th July is the date for free travel within and to / from Wales.

FFS !

I'd be on my own in the middle of nowhere and yet I can go to a forking supermarket full of idiots who want to get up close to me.

Ah well. Riding elsewhere again then and someone else can have my pie money !

In Wales we are somewhat behind the curve in the pandemic progress. My stepson visited his father a few days ago, and the neighbours who have fallen out with his father and new wife (I don't blame the neighbours for hating them, they're odious) reported him to the police, silly boy but he was just trying to maintain a relationship with his dad.

Know the feeling never stopped working did 70miles a day with work yet I could not drive 25miles to the Forest Of Dean for 2months and in there would get nowhere near anybody just the way it is.
